Two great units for taking drums on and off pallets..
Easy lift offers two models for the safe handling of steel, poly and fiber drums on/off pallets. The EasyLift and Easy lift Economy models allow an operator to grab various size drums on and off of pallets with just a few foot pumps. Just about anyone can handle 600, 800 or even up to 1,000 pound container without having to touch the drum or support the weight of the drum as commonly seen with the 2 wheel drum dollies. Both models will lift 18″ to 20″ in vertical drum lift.
Where these 2 units differ is:
- The EasyLift model lifts 1″ in per stroke of the pedal, the Economy is 1/2″.
- We use the best ergonomic casters around for the EasyLift model allowing less force to move a drum.
- Economy models have fixed legs set at 800 pounds, The EasyLift model has telescopic legs with adjustments from 400 to 1000 pounds. (nice for tight areas)
- The Brake on the EasyLift is a quick step down lock, the economy model uses small locks on each of the rear wheels.
Essentially what we have done is take a couple minor shortcuts on the Economy model for those lower volume applications. Both units come with the same warranty.
