Each Model 86 below the hook Drum Lifter is load tested at the factory at 125% of rated capacity as per American National Standard ASME B30.20 and a load test certificate is enclosed with each unit.Use the 90 Series hoist attachments to grab and lift your drum. Then move and place your drum almost anywhere. Load a drum to and from remote or hard-to-reach areas

1. Attach the Verti-Karrier drum grab to your hoist or crane
2. Move drum lifter and lower onto the top of drum
3. As the drum grab is elevated it grips drum automatically
4. When the drum is lowered to the ground, the drum grab carriage drops down and automatically locks in the open position, releasing the load
5. The Verti-Karrier drum grab is then ready to lift another drum

The grip will not disconnect until drum is fully down. You only need to operate your hoist to guide drum grab into position. This saves operator time and protects against dangerous climbing.Model 90, 90M and 90-SS are sized for your 55-gallon steel drum. They have 3 different settings, and should be adjusted to grip the sidewall under the rim of your drum. Set in the top hole it will grip to 22-1/16”, middle hole to 22-3/16”, and bottom hole to 22-7/16”.Morse Verti-Karrier Drum Lifter Series are NOT for drums without lids or tops in place.

A large pharmaceutical and medical technology company recently called Morse to order several hundred stainless steel drum dollies. We referred them to their local Morse Dealer. They needed drums to be highly mobile for use in various locations within their facility. A custom dolly was developed for use with either of the two different drum sizes in their small batch manufacturing processes.

A Stainless Steel Below-Hook Drum Karrier was needed by a seafood processing company in the Miami, Florida area. They inquired through our website, so we contacted his local Morse Dealer with all the details. They determined that Morse model 85i-SS perfectly suited the application. The company bought one in October, and liked it so much, that they bought another in November.

Stainless steel alloys, with their chromium content, have higher resistance to oxidation (rusting) and corrosion because the chromium forms a surface layer impervious to water and air. When the surface is scratched the layer quickly reforms… a phenomenon called passivation. This layer protects the metal beneath and retains the shiny appearance of your stainless steel drum handler.

Morse 82A Series Drum Palletizers allow you to move drums on and off pallets, spill containment pallets and drum dollies. Pour at up to 26″ high without the safety risks of manhandling heavy drums. The V-shaped base is designed so you can raise and place a drum at the corners of a pallet.

Power-Lift Options provide the most ergonomic means to raise drums. Drum palletizers are available with AC, DC or Air power-lift options.
Model 82A drum palletizer (shown left) has a hand pump for drum lift. You manually tilt the drum for pouring. The drum can also be locked upright or in horizontal position.

Morse 27 and 28 Series 55-Gallon Hand Drum Pumps

Double-action piston drum pumps are self priming, delivering on both the forward and the back stroke. It takes less than 5 cycles to yield a gallon (3.8 liters).Each Morse 26, 27, 28 Series 55-gallon hand pumps and Pump or Barrel Pump is made in the same style and has the same action. Morse drum hand pumps and barrel pumps vary only in their materials of construction, consisting of specific polymers and elastomers for resistance to certain types of chemicals (please refer to the drum pump chart below).

Morse 55-gallon hand drum and barrel pumps provide a controlled discharge rate of approximately 1 quart on complete forward and backward cycle at 10 psi over 24 feet. They fit the NPT (National Pipe Thread) of the 2″ bung on 55-gallon steel drum. Adaptors are available to use Morse 55-gallon barrel pumps with the buttress thread of the 2″ bung on your plastic barrels.

• Suction Lift tested for 15 feet minimum
• Discharge head up to 25 feet
• Output head pressure is up to 10.83 psi
• 1″ NPT suction tube
• 3/4″ NPT discharge tube
• Two position drum pump handle
• Handle can be mounted above the drum hand pump extending 20.5″ above the bung when upright.

• Handle viscosity up to 2,000 SSU (about as thick as 30 weight motor oil at room temperature).
• Handle effort increases as viscosity approaches this maximum.
• 27 Series and Model 26 drum pumps are generally useful with compatible liquids in a mild acidity/alkalinity range of pH 4 to 9. Avoid stronger acids and caustics
• 28 Series drum pumps are useful in a wider pH range.
