* Half-Full Drum Rating of forklift attachment is an indication of the capacity for tilting an unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. A partially full drum with an unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than a full drum.

More than just a drum inverter or drum dumper…

Lift, rotate and control the pour of a drum with Morse drum carriers. Use these below the hook drum carriers with your hoist or crane to control the pour of drum contents, rather than simply dump the entire contents with a drum inverter.

185 and 195 Series below the hook drum tilter to pour drum above operator reach
85 Series drum tilter for pouring within operator reach
Tilt drum 360° in either direction. Lift and invert drum with drum faucet in place.

Drum tilt-control options

Standard drum tilt control is pull chain and chain wheel (shown above left)

Morse below-the-hook drum lifters (i.e. Models 85A, 185A, 90, 41, etc.) are manufactured by Morse Mfg. Co., Inc. in East Syracuse, NY 13057. These drum lifters comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:

Rated load markings and unit identification
Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D1.1 welding qualification test

Drum lifting

Morse 82A Series Drum Palletizers allow you to move drums on and off pallets, spill containment pallets and drum dollies. Pour at up to 26″ high without the safety risks of manhandling heavy drums. The V-shaped base is designed so you can raise and place a drum at the corners of a pallet.

Power-Lift Options provide the most ergonomic means to raise drums. Drum palletizers are available with AC, DC or Air power-lift options.
Model 82A drum palletizer (shown left) has a hand pump for drum lift. You manually tilt the drum for pouring. The drum can also be locked upright or in horizontal position.

Tilt and pour drum

82A Series drum palletizers place or retrieve a drum at the corners of a pallet. You can rotate a drum 360 degrees end-over-end, then tilt drum to pour.

Lock drum at horizontal to dispense at up to 26″ high
Lock at vertical to prevent spills

Drum Palletizers pour a drum beyond the V-shaped base (shown above). Standard 55-gallon steel drum in horizontal position reaches 18.5″ beyond the wheels.

The 82A Series drum palletizers handle a 22.5″ diameter 55-gallon steel drum. They accept Diameter Adaptors for various smaller drums.

This product allows one person to lift, transport and dispense fully loaded 55 gallon steel drums with ease. It features a manual foot pump hydraulic lift and rolls on 4″ rear swivel casters and 8″ front rigid wheels. There is a hand crank on the 60″ model and chain rotation on the other models to rotate the drum 360°. All models feature a boom attachment which stores on the outriggers. Optional power units available for the lifting operation. See bottom of page for options to handle plastic and fiber drums.

Lift, Rotate and Transport 55 Gallon Steel Drums

DRUM-LRT
The multifunctional unithas a hand pump that lifts drums from ground level to a raised height of 68″, bottom of drum in horizontal position. A gear mechanism will provide a controlled rotation for the drum. A floor lock is standard to stabilize the unit in a fixed position.

DRUM-LRT-DC
This multifunctional unit features powered lift and rotation operation. For use with 55-gallon steel, plastic and fiber drums. A 24V DC powered rotation mechanism provides the controlled 360° rotation of the drum. A 12V DC powered mechanism lifts drums from ground level to a raised height of 63″. Capacity 550 lbs.

Fork Mounted Drum Carrier/Rotator

This product allows you to easily transport and rotate 55 gallons steel drums using a fork truck. Drums are held securely in place by a durable chain locking system. Each unit is provided with a 15 foot long chain to allow the drum to be rotated up to 360° from the fork truck operator’s seat. Fork pockets measure 71?2″ wide by 21?2″ high usable. Safety chain is used to secure unit to fork truck. Bung Nut Wrench, model BNW-I, is also included for opening and closing drums.
